Like all great products, Wheadon’s Gin began life as a side project for hotelier Luke Wheadon, distilling a “house gin” for Guernsey’s Bella Luce Hotel. As a former chef Luke’s ability to combine flavours created a beautiful gin, designed specifically to be enjoyed as a G&T, that exploded in popularity and has seen Wheadon’s Gin grow into one of the Channel Islands’ favourite gin brands.

Wheadon’s now produces three expressions as well as limited edition seasonal specials, is served in bars and restaurants across the Channel Islands and the UK and is available to buy internationally through leading online retailers. Wheadon’s Gin has experienced phenominal growth over a relatively short period. A parent company, the Channel Island Liquor Company, has recently being formed with a Jersey distillery being developed and additional brands and products due to launch.
Working on Wheadon’s from the get-go, Hailer helped to develop the Wheadon’s Gin brand from the Bella Luce’s house gin into a stand-alone entity, organically building brand advocacy locally that has allowed Wheadon’s Gin to grow first in Guernsey, then across the Channel islands, before making the step across to the UK and European mainland.
